30th Anniversary

Bodywise Ltd began with an idea in 1971 and we released our first product in 1978. It took all of the seven years in between to study the chemistry involved and packaging which would keep the contents stable. You could say that we have been working 37 years but we are only counting from 1978 when we released the world’s first ever human pheromone product.

Since 1978 we have been copied by many other companies. We numbered our Aeolus Pheromone products as they have different effects depending upon the situation you are in (see Pheromone info.) The first copies came from a company who did not want to pay the price for a good quality product, so they called their copies Potent 8 and Captivate 8. The next copy was called Attractant 10. They do say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

We were then asked by one of our trade customers if we would use our laboratory to look at assisting another form of bodily secretions: - Sexual lubricants which we did. The first thing we did was to look at what other people made and found out that their had been no changes or improvements for many decades in this very important field and that by far and away the world wide brand leader was not even designed to be a sexual lubricant, it was designed to put medical devices into body orifices just once. Hopefully any loving couple would like to last a little longer.

We spent 4 years developing the best ever lubricant we could and at no time did we ever consider the cost of the ingredients. We formulated the product with the thought in mind that in this aspect of life, the very best quality would be worth paying for. I am pleased to say that we were right, we have never had to advertise it and it has still been a runaway success. This necessitated having a customised factory built on the Isle of Wight, a lovely little Island just off the south coast of Britain.
